Re/Furb products are “like new” devices that have been thoroughly inspected, tested and cleaned at our factory facility in Denmark.

This means that as these refurbished units have been unpacked and manipulated, they might exhibit some *minor cosmetic imperfections, such as minor scratches or marks around the ports.

*By minor, we mean imperceptible to the naked eye at a 3 feet distance.

What's that ?

Devices part of our Re/Furb program mostly consists of 15 Days Returns products and warranty-covered defective units that were sent back to us by our customers. The remaining are units made out of spare parts that did not pass cosmetic inspections at the factory in the first place.

Here's how it works :

First inspection

Prior to being sent to the factory, all units are sorted, tested and inspected.

Repairable units are repaired and reconditioned units are reassembled

All units are PCB flashed and retested (Both Electrical and Functional testing)

Where can I buy a refurbished LINEDOCK ?

Only on our website linedock.co. As these units are factory-reconditioned, we are the only ones to provide these.

How will I know that my refurbished unit has been factory-reconditioned ?

Refurbished units have a special tag on the box. Also, we keep track of all the serial numbers that are part of the Re/Furb program.

What is the warranty ?

Both warranty and return policy are the same as for our new units.
If you experience issues with your refurbished LINEDOCK, we will assist you with a repair, exchange or remote fix when the issue can be solved remotely over phone.

How big are the cosmetic imperfections ?

LINEDOCK is a premium product. It is therefore important for us to make sure you get the most out of it, whether it’s a reconditioned unit or a new one.

Units that are part of the Re/Furb program may have minor cosmetic imperfections such as minor scratches around the ports or less than 0.39 inch scratches on the cover or on the back.

What’s the difference between a used LINEDOCK and a reconditioned LINEDOCK ?

Used units are units that have been used and returned to us by customers. We do not sell any used LINEDOCK’s and we have no authorised retailer for such.

Reconditioned units are units that may have been used by customers and sent back to our factory, or new units that did not pass with a 100% score our cosmetic inspections.

At the factory, each unit is fully disassembled, defective parts are replaced or repaired when possible, re-tested, re-assembled and repacked.

Reconditioned units pass the same tests (Electrical and Mechanical) as new units and have the latest firmware update installed on it.

I bought a second-hand LINEDOCK from another website. Am I eligible for a Warranty Claim under Re/Furb program?

Unfortunately no. You are only eligible for a warranty claim when you have purchased your refurbished unit from our website on www.linedock.co

What is the return policy and how does it work for refurbished units ?

We offer a 15 Days policy, just like for our new units. We have very strict guidelines when it comes to selecting units to be eligible for our Re/Furb program.

This therefore means that we will expect the returned unit to be in the same condition as when it was received. No significant damage and fully-functioning.

What do you do with the seriously damaged units or parts ?

Built as a LEGO-tank, the LINEDOCK is very user-friendly (users can, at their own risk, install their own SSD) and each part is fully repairable, replaceable and recyclable. Thanks to our participation to Bebat Collection Program, we are now also able to recycle defective and old batteries!
