love it

I love that this Is back, It works great for powering and charging especially

if your at one of those coffee shops , that the wall socket is in a bad spot,

it disconnects fast , that being said , it doesn't seem to play well with

thunderbolt 3, I have a mbp M1 , and it wouldn't see the external drives

its a bit too big for another cable to fit sided by side, cold be that one just needs

to get a cable that the end connector is skinner , as long as I fine a skinner cable

ill be happy as Its when iam doing work remotely that I need to plug it in

LINEDOCK

Hello David! We really appreciate the feedback. The Linemag is fully compatible with thunderbolt 3 and should not hinder data transfer speeds at all. I will refer you to technical support to figure out why your Linemag is not operating at the full capacity of thunderbolt 3. The Linemag may be a bit wide and hinder the usability of the type-C port next to it on some Macs, but when utilized with our Linedock that has three spread out type-C ports this will not be an issue. Have a great day ahead! :)

Not sure about this...

Nice looking magnetic adapter and great service from Line.

Initial use left me a bit wary of continuing to enjoy the easy connection the Linemag provides.

Why? My 87W Apple adapter failed during the first week of use with the adapter.

Could be a complete coincidence, but I've never experienced another failure of an Apple AC adapter in 17 years of owning Apple laptops. Leaves me feeling a bit a bit suspect of the Linemag device... Doubt I'll try it again with the new Apple AC adapter I just ordered.

LINEDOCK

Hi Drew, I am sorry for your broken Apple charger. It is very unlikely that the LINEMAG caused such trouble as it is not possible to damage a connected device by the shorting pins on the LINEMAG. It might be that you used a defective cable or charger. In any case we are happy to send you a new LINEMAG free of charge for you to try. Have a great day! :)

Dongle Saver

Wish I had found this earlier as it would have saved twice the cost. Prior to LineMag my spouse tripped over my charging cord hooked to MacBook pulling it off the table and sending it crashing to the floor. Fortunately the computer landed on the charging dongle which was destroyed but the laptop itself was left unscathed. Had I had LineMag this would not have happened - the LineMag would have quickly disconnected leaving my laptop setting on the table. I'm sold!

Great Device but ...

Hi,

it works very well but the Macbook Pro was not be able to work together with the CalDigit device offered by Apple. Connector CalDigit width: 12,2 mm ; Connector Macbook (Current/Data) 10,2 mm. You can't get both to work. So I am thinking to buy the linedock device (Battery+ divers Connectors) ...

Love the feedback. The Linedock will not support this additional doc, since both docs need to be plugged in directly to the Mac to work properly. I am glad to hear your choice of the Linedock over the CalDigit dock for our added benefit of including a battery and extra storage. Have a great day! :)

What Apple should have done!

Apple shouldn't remove MagSafe from Macs, but gladly LINEMAG resolves the problem!

It works great with the LINEDOCK and the led indicator really helps to know if it is connected or not!
